Residence Life Staff Active in UMR-ACUHO

This fall, residence life staff members received recognition from their regional professional association, the Upper Midwest Region - Association of College and University Housing Officers (UMR-ACUHO). Some staff members also participated in regional professional development events:

Joy Rhodes (left), a receptionist at Sunvilla, was recognized by the UMR-ACUHO organization as one of this year's recipients of the Support Staff Award. This award is given to support staff at member institutions who assist in the daily operations of the Residence Life system and contribute to overall student success.

 Shelly Kuschman, Sunvilla Assistant Hall Director, and Alison Sinadinos, Wells Assistant Hall Director, participated in the UMR-ACUHO Case Study Competition at this year's annual conference held in Kansas City, Missouri.

Alisa Garbisch and Scott Mitchell, both Assistant Directors in Education and Development, were asked to serve as Case Study judges at the UMR-ACUHO Case Study Competition at this year's annual conference.
