Vice President for Student Affairs
Dr. Dee Siscoe joined the Missouri State University staff as the new Vice President for Student Affairs on July 23, 2013. Dr. Siscoe draws on over twenty years’ experience within higher education and brings new enthusiasm and added expertize to the Division of Student Affairs. Dr. Siscoe, an alumnus of Missouri State, received her Bachelor’s Degree from Southwest Missouri State University, her Master’s Degree in Student Personnel in Higher Education from the University of Florida, and her Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from the University of North Texas. Prior to returning to Missouri State, Dr. Siscoe served in a number of positions at institutions all across the nation. These positions include, but are not limited to, serving as the Interim Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of South Florida, the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of South Florida, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Student Life at Southern Methodist University, and Associate Vice President for Student Life at Texas Women’s University. Dr. Siscoe also draws on professional teaching experience after serving as an adjunct faculty member at four different institutions. In addition, Dr. Siscoe is a member of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA).
